Finally, The Windows Phone 7.8 update for 1st generation Nokia Lumia (Nokia Lumia 900, 800, 710, 610 and 510) is here.

Nokia over Nokia Conversation page said that start from today until couple next weeks they start to rolling out the Windows Phone 7.8 update.




The Windows Phone 7.8 comes with new homescreen (same with Nokia Lumia with Windows Phone 8's home screen) and also including Internet sharing, Bluetooth sharing, imaging enhancements like Camera Extras, and the release of apps such as Contact Share, Play To and Nokia City Lens that are available.

Don't forget to check your new lock screen with daily background image from Bing and Child lock screen security.

  • The Windows Phone 7.8 update will rolling out start today until March 2013. The availability of the update is depends on your region and operator.
